The web site should be becoming available in certain regions at first and slowly for everyone else. We could not apologize enough for the extended delay. But Liberty Reserve has always chosen privacy, security and safety as issues of primary concern. Please, as always, rest assured that Liberty Reserve remains the safest place to conduct your financial transactions, and while outages are hard to forecast, we would like to assure you that everything will be done in our power to minimize those to the bare necessary minimum. Including adding two mirrors (that are being implemented now).

Please note that the ONLY OFFICIAL source of information regarding the status of our system is this blog and not any other forum or a newsletter or an e-mail. You may be introduced to some quite bizarre rumors during this outage and false information that was cooked up by an unfriendly and dishonorable competitors but as always, Liberty Reserve will lead the way and is not going anywhere for many years to come.

Now the LR website is down for around 4 days. In my opinion, many of those ponzi's HYIP will turn into scam when the LR site is back.

Why I said so?? It's because the "ponzi" site dont have incoming deposit from investor on this 4 days but they still need to pay the listing fee to those monitoring site. Some hyip site need to pay a total listing fee more than $1000 per day. Besides the listing fee, they still need to pay advertising fee for there banner and so on. All of this need a huge amount $$ to make sure that everyday have a new deposit coming. So, if the admin dont have enough capital fund to maintain the cashflow, I sure they will run away and turn into scam.

Let's see what happen after the LR site is back online!

L/R is back for me.

Greetings,
I hope that with this down time L/R improves on their security. My accounts have been hacked so many times I gave up and have switched to perfect money. L/R has a long way to go to build back trust as many of us have been robbed and I feel that a lot of it came from inside L/R. In my experience they make no effort to stop the theft of funds and could care lees about clients and our well being. I caution any and all using L/R that you do so at your own risk. They will make no effort to recover stolen funds and in their minds the fault always lies with us.

I've already queried Valiant Trade and The Stoic about when it's time to withdraw my investment just email them just prior and they'll send the funds to my perfect money account. I wonder how a few of us honest people out here could start an onilne bank and keep it nice and accomodating. Let me know what some of you think of this small idea.

Hi ..the-fool --not in place either. Money got transfered to LR at 19.16PM and at 6.16AM my 7075 Dollars disapeared with out me knowing about that. They don't want to know nothing even I gave them the Batsh # and # it was transfered to!! I hope everybode get his money out from them and closes the Account. But there are still people who say the O.K. In my oppinion this are all LR Employies.

When I login, I get to step 3 and than it puts me back to step 1 login page.
I am not able to get into my account.

I am glad, its not only me having a problem, it worked yesterday, but today I am trying for over 4 hours and I just can't get into the account. Hope it will not last much longer.

I totally agree....its too bad that they are they primary e-currency for most hyip's as i trust strict pay and perfect money much more than liberty reserve... i had my first hacking experience with them back in feruary, and it was devastating....like you papalodell, i believe it was an inside job, because the hacker didnt bother to get into any of my other accounts...seemed a bit fishy to me. but i am slowly transitioning to s.p. and perfect money....L.R. users please beware.
